The Right Infrastructure is essential for the future development, but what really is infrastructure. In essence, it really is the foundation that enables the society to exist tomorrow. It is also a different skillset needed to manage a private business, and each type of business also requires different type of skillsets. Often underestimated, Human Resources is essential for Guyana’s survival. The trends are damaging, and so has been the future of the country in the past.

Demographics

The demographics of Guyana has been changing over time. The capital region saw a dramatic decline between 1980 and 1991, but there has been on a rebound ever since, but at the expense of region 6 where New Amsterdam, Rose Hall, and Corriverton are located. Expect to see much more dramatic changes within the next 5 years as Guyana begins to thread the needle and begin producing closer to its potential capacity. As the roads begin to connect the interior, so will the economic and demographic changes.
