Business Development & Opportunities

The dominant industries in Linden are Bauxite, Gold, and Lumber. To support these industries, the communities have evolved to have a relatively higher education than the rest of Guyana, and is well supported by the Guyanese expats abroad.

For future economic development, the community longs for a more stable electrical grid to produce electricity, and an improved road network to support businesses. Resilience and persistence is the name of the game in Linden, so an economic boom is expected when the basic projects are completed, international investments begin flowing, and expats combine forces with the local population.

Inside Linden

Whether you are visiting for a business opportunity or to celebrate, the MacKenzie downtown must be on your list of places to go. Crossing the river and visiting communities like Wisroc should also be on your bucket list. The people are nice, and open to developments.
